How much does khula cost in Pakistan?
There is no single nationwide price for khula in Pakistan. The amount a person spends depends on the legal route, the court, the work required and whether connected family claims are part of the matter.

A khula budget can have several separate parts: the lawyer's professional fee, court or filing charges where applicable, service and copy costs, post-decree registration or certificate charges, and any travel, courier or translation costs. Punjab court-fee measures and registry practice can change, and other provinces follow their own position, so an old online figure is not a reliable quote. Haq Mehr is a separate issue from the lawyer's fee and depends on the pleadings, payments, evidence and the legal basis for dissolution. Khula does not have one fixed national fee
The Family Courts Act sets out Family Court jurisdiction and procedure. It does not publish one professional fee that every lawyer must charge for a khula matter. A responsible estimate must distinguish the firm's work from amounts paid to a court, registry, process server, Union Council, Municipal Committee or another authority.
The total can also change when the case includes maintenance, dower, dowry articles, custody, visitation, execution, an appeal or a difficult service problem. A simple online price cannot safely cover every combination.

Punjab and Lahore fee questions need a current check
Punjab has issued measures affecting court fees, and the Lahore High Court rules and later provincial notifications need to be read with the current registry practice. That is why it is unsafe to copy a claim that every khula filing in Pakistan is free, or to apply a Punjab figure to another province.
Before filing, ask which charges are official, which are professional fees and which are expected disbursements. The responsible registry or authority should confirm a current fee, form or payment requirement. The amount can change without changing the legal route itself.

Haq Mehr is not a lawyer's fee
Haq Mehr, or dower, is a financial issue arising from the marriage and the relief sought. It should not be added to a lawyer's fee estimate as though it were a filing charge. The result can depend on whether the case is framed as khula or another form of dissolution, what has been paid or admitted, the nikah nama, the evidence and the applicable provincial law.
The current text of section 10(4) of the Family Courts Act contains a direction about restoration of Haq Mehr received in consideration of the marriage when reconciliation fails in a dissolution suit. That sentence does not answer every dower dispute or create a safe universal percentage for every Punjab or Pakistan case. Counsel should review the marriage record and the proposed pleadings before anyone relies on a cost assumption.
